ART RASMUSSEN 

"Art Rasmussen, who was purchased by the Philadelphia Nationals in the fall of 1911 after a successful season with the Vancouver (Northwestern League) club, is a big right-hander with plenty of speed. He pitched 27 games for Vancouver in 1911, winning 15 of them, and his team captured the pennant easily.

Rasmussen trained with the Phillies in the spring of 1912, but the team encountered so much bad weather that none of the pitchers got into shape until after the season began. In cutting down his squad to the required limit, Manager Dooin released Rasmussen to the Altoona team."
