BILL ABSTEIN
"Bill Abstein, first baseman, Jersey City International Club, was born in St. Louis, Mo., February 2, 1885. He is 5 ft. 11 inches in height and weighs 185 pounds.
His first professional engagement was with the Belleville, Illinois, Club in 1904. Bill has had considerable experience in the National League, being with the Pittsburgh Club for two seasons. He played 153 games last season with Jersey City and hit .247. His fielding average was .988."

DICK BREEN
"Dick Breen, second baseman, Jersey City International League Club, was born in Brooklyn, New York. He played semi-professional ball around New York, going to the Northwestern League in 1909 with the Portland Club.
In 1910, he was with the Vancouver Club and was sold to the Cincinnati Reds, who turned him over to Jersey City. Last year he played 156 games and fielded .951."

JOHN BUTLER
"John Butler, of the Jersey City International League team, is a very competent catcher. In his earlier years he distinguished himself with a team in Brooklyn; and previous to his return to the Jersey City Club, he made himself prominent in Rochester."

JACK DOSCHER
"Jack Doscher, pitcher, New Jersey Club of the International League, was born in Buffalo, New York, and is the son of the old time player and umpire Herman Doscher.
Young Doscher learned the game on the corner lots of his hometown, graduating to the semi-professional clubs. His first engagement of note was with Harrisburg of the Tri-State League in 1907.
His record with Jersey City: won 4, lost 10, fielded .971 and hit .217. He is a left-hander."

"Pitcher 'Bumpus' Jones of the Jersey City team in the International League had a successful year with the team last year. He worked in 39 games and won 16. He had a fielding average of .971 and batted .207."

WALT JUSTIS
"Walt Justis, pitcher, New Jersey Club, International League, had his first professional engagement with the Lancaster, Ohio, Club of the Ohio-Pennsylvania League in 1905. He played with that club until 1908, going with the Lancaster team to the Ohio State League in 1909.
In 1910-11, he was with Jersey City. His record with that club in 1911, pitching in 26 games, 7 won and 10 lost, fielding .946 and batting .158.
Walt is a right-hander."

"Rube Kisinger, pitcher, Jersey City Club of the International League, is one of the veterans of the league, having been with Toronto, Buffalo and Jersey City for the last ten years. He was with Detroit in 1902.
He is a big man, 6 ft. in height, weighs 195 lbs and is 35 years of age. He is a right-hander. His record was 7 won, 13 lost, batting .193 and fielding .950."

"Catcher Wells, of the Jersey Club in the International League, is a very promising player. He caught 40 games last season and pulled up with a fielding average of .964. He was switched to right field when his services were not needed behind the plate. Wells batted .256 in a total of 81 games."

"Right fielder George Wheeler of the Jersey City team in the International League played in 140 games last year and had a fielding average of .953 while he hit .281.
He looks to have a very promising season in front of him. He was also with Jersey City in 1910."
