"William Baxter, pitcher, Buffalo International League Club, made his first professional appearance with the Newcastle Club in the Ohio-Pennsylvania League in 1910. In 1911, he was with Wilmington, Delaware, in the Tri-State League, from which club Buffalo bought him at the end of the season. With Wilmington he won 10, lost 15, batted.159 and fielded .988."

"Fred L. Beebe, pitcher, Buffalo International League Club, has had considerable experience in the National League with St. Louis and Cincinnati. He was turned over to Buffalo in 1911. His record with St. Louis last year was 15 won, 21 lost, fielding .932 and batting .167."

LEW BROCKETT

"Louis A. (King) Brockett, pitcher, Buffalo International League Club, was in the Eastern League for several years. His first engagement in fast company was with the Buffalo Eastern club. Lew was with Newark for part of 1908 and with the New York Americans in 1909. He did not play in 1910. In 1911, he was with Buffalo, but only played a few games."

FRANK CORRIDON

"Frank J. Corridon, pitcher of the Buffalo International League team, was born in Newport, Rhode Island, on November 25, 1880, and is thirty-two years of age. He is six feet in height and weighs 170 pounds.

His first professional engagement was with Pawtucket in 1898. He has also been with the Chicago, Philadelphia and St. Louis clubs of the National League, and with Providence and Buffalo of the Eastern League.

Last season he hit .279 for 32 games, fielded .942, won 11 and lost 8."

"Bill Malarkey, pitcher, Buffalo International Club, started in professional ball with the Sharon, Pa., team of the Ohio-Pennsylvania League in 1907 and has been with Buffalo since 1908. In 1911 he won 7, lost 12, fielded .915 and batted .113. Bill is a right-hander."

"Sport McAllister is one of the catchers of the Buffalo team of the International League. Last season, he split his time between Montreal and Buffalo and played in 64 games, posting a .981 fielding average. He is only a fair hitter with a lifetime major league average of .247."

FRED MITCHELL

"Fred Mitchell, catcher, Buffalo International League Club, started out as a pitcher with the Philadelphia Athletics and pitched major league ball for five years with Philadelphia, Boston in the American League and Brooklyn and Philadelphia in the National League. He joined the Toronto club in 1906 and was with that club in 1907, 1908 and 1909. In 1910, he was with the New York Americans.

In 1911 he was with the Champion Rochester team. He caught 86 games and fielded .286. In 88 games he hit .292.

His real name is Fred Yapp. He changed from pitcher to catcher in 1909, his last year with Toronto."

JIM MURRAY

"Jim Murray, centre fielder of the Buffalo International League Club, was born in Galveston, Texas, and is 34 years of age. His first professional engagement was with the Galveston Club of the Texas League.

He has been in the Eastern League and American Association for 10 years, being with Toronto, St. Paul and Buffalo, and was with the St. Louis Nationals.

He is a right-handed batter and throws left-handed. Murray's record for 1911 was .328 for 81 games, fielding .968."

GEORGE SCHIRM

"George Schirm, left fielder, Buffalo International League Club, joined that club in 1907 and has been with it ever since. His first professional engagement was with the Columbia Club of the South Atlantic League.

In 1911 he fielded .976, leading the circuit's left fielders, batted .271 and stole 40 bases."

BUD SHARPE

"Bayard S. (Bud) Sharpe, first baseman of the Buffalo International Club, was born in West Chester, Pa., August 6, 1889. He is 6 feet 1 inch in height and weighs 175 pounds. His first professional engagement was with the Coatesville Club of the Tri-State League in 1904.

He was with Pittsburgh in the National League for two seasons, going from there to Boston in the same league. He has been with Newark and Buffalo of the Eastern League. 

In 1911 Bud played 102 games, hitting .281. He led the league's first basemen with a percentage of .992."

RALPH STROUD

"Ralph E. Stroud, Buffalo International League Club, pitched his first professional ball for the Trenton Club of the New Jersey League in 1909. He was drafted by Detroit in 1910 and won 5 and lost 9 for that club. Ralph was turned over to Buffalo in 1911, where he won 12 and lost 9."

FRANK TRUESDALE

"Frank Truesdale, second baseman, Buffalo International League Club, is a Californian. He played with the Oakland Club of the Pacific Coast League in 1908 and 1909. In 1910 he was with the St. Louis Americans.

In 1911 with Buffalo, Frank batted .250 and fielded .944 in 144 games."

JACK WHITE

"John White, left fielder, Buffalo International League Club, was born in Indianapolis and learned the game there. White has been in the Eastern (now International) League for over 15 years, being with Toronto and Buffalo. He has been traded several times between these two clubs.

He is a right-hander and bats both right- and left-handed.

He hit .272 for 105 games and fielded .975."
